RESUME
A detail-oriented graphic designer from Cleveland, Ohio, fueled by creativity, empathy, and a mission to make a positive impact through design.
My journey into the design world began in high school, where I discovered art as an outlet for self-expression. This passion led me to pursue a dual major in Communication Design and Art Therapy at Miami University, deepening my understanding of human emotions and their connection to visual communication, allowing me to merge creativity with a purpose— to positively impact others' lives.
Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I've honed my ability to translate brand messages into strategic design solutions that exceed client expectations. I'm particularly passionate about branding, typography, art direction, illustration, packaging, editorial, and anything involving creative direction.
I would describe myself as a creative and ambitious designer with a passion for collaboration. I love sharing ideas and creating a positive work environment. What makes me unique is my genuine excitement for working with people and my values of empathy and kindness. I like to live by the saying that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% what you make of it. You learn something from everyone you meet, and every encounter teaches me something new, fueling my curiosity and pushing me to explore innovative techniques. Ultimately, my motivation stems from a desire to make a positive impact in the world, which aligns perfectly with my career in design.
I’m a Sagittarius, INFP personality type, dog-less dog lover, and I’ve never seen the Harry Potter movies, so I can’t tell you what my Hogwarts house is. I have a guilty pleasure for sitcoms and dad jokes, love dry humor and sarcasm, and appreciate a good storyteller. I tried virtually every sport throughout my life until I realized I wasn't meant to be an athlete— getting hit in the face with a baseball twice was a clear sign. I did pole vault in high school and never made it over the bar, nevertheless, the practice rope.
Here is video evidence that my friends like to send often to remind me…
